SPAIN – SWITZERLAND U21

After seven years, the U-21 national team will be back in Almeria to play a friendly match. On Friday March 24^th, the team led by Santi Denia will play against Switzerland at the Power Horse Stadium. This match is possible thanks to the collaboration between the Spanish Football Association and the Andalusian Football Federation with the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Almeria Provincial Council, the Almeria City Council and UD Almeria.

It will be a significant match for Santi Denia. The coach from Castilla-La Mancha takes over from Luis de la Fuente, the current national coach. He will make his debut in this match at the helm of the Spanish U-21 national team.

The match against Switzerland will be a preparation for the European Championship, which will take place in Georgia and Romania in June and July.
