Cookies policy

WHAT IS a COOKIE?

It is a small text file stored on your computer or other device when you visit a site. It collects information about your browsing on that site. In some cases, cookies are required to facilitate browsing and allow information about the browsing preferences of a user or his/her computer to be stored, among other things. Cookies can be used to identify the user, depending on the information they contain and the purpose for which the computer is being used.

WHAT IS NOT a COOKIE?

It is not a virus, a troyan, a worm, spam, spyware or pop-up.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES A COOKIE STORE?

Cookies do not usually store any personal information, such as credit card or bank details, photographs, your ID card, etc. The data they store is of a technical nature, personal preferences, content personalization, etc.

The server does not recognise you as a person, but only your web browser. In fact, if you usually browse with Internet Explorer and try to browse the same website with Firefox or Chrome, you will see that the web does not notice you are the same person because it is actually associating the browser, not the person.
